Surgeons talk about treatment options for joint pain at free seminar on April 21

HAMMOND--Join North Oaks orthopaedic surgeons and total joint specialists for a free joint pain seminar on Thursday, April 21 at 6 p.m.

Drs. Vince Lands and Robert McAfee will discuss common causes of hip and knee pain and the latest treatment options like the ROSA® Knee robot. They will be available for questions and visit with attendees throughout the event.

Dr. Lands is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic traumatologist who specializes in complex trauma care and joint replacement surgeries. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Lands completed his residency in orthopaedics through St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and his orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. McAfee is a board-certified total joint replacement specialist and general orthopedist with more than 35 years of experience and has performed 10,000+ surgeries throughout his career. He completed his medical degree and orthopaedic residency at Tulane in New Orleans.
